Dr. Turner-Addison is the President of the North Tulsa Economic Development Initiative nonprofit organization, with responsibilities that include implementing short and long-term goals to ensure the organization remains mission-centered and outcome-oriented. Dr. Turner-Addison, is also currently serving as the Director for Pine Premier Child Care, managing day to day operations, where there is a “Commitment to Growth and Success of Our Future Leaders and Staff.” Dr. Turner-Addison earned an Associate Degree at Oklahoma Junior College; a bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting, and master’s degree in Urban Education from Langston University. She earned her Occupation/Adult Education Doctoral degree from Oklahoma State University.

While serving as Tulsa Public School Board President, Dr. Lana Turner-Addison was among five school board members from across the state named to the Oklahoma State School Boards Association’s 2016 All-State School Board. Dr. Turner-Addison areas of interest and focus are related to designing and implementing programs, policies, and practices, in support of creating, investing, and advocating to build wealth in north Tulsa.
